Do you have a shop? Where can I find you?
Yes we do! Our shop and cafe is situated at 59 Parsons Street, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX16 5NB. You can collect your orders from us at the shop, or at one of the many markets and events we attend (see our UPCOMING EVENTS page), or you can simply use our postal service.
How should I store my goodies once purchased?
In cool weather, there is no need to keep your cakes in the fridge, but in the summer and on hotter days the fridge would be a good option! Cookies are always best at room temperature and then can be microwaved for a few seconds to make them soft and gooey.
How long will my cakes last?
Brownies and Blondies will last longer in the fridge; usually 4-5 days. After this they may go a little dry around the edges but they will still be gooey in the middle. Cookies will last for a week or more if wrapped. All other bakes will last for a week or more. We don’t imagine they will be hanging around for that long though!
Can my cakes be frozen?
We make all of our bakes fresh so yes, you can freeze them all apart from the Caramel Cornflake Brownie Bar. For bakes with a solid chocolate topping, such as Millionaire’s Shortbread, you may notice some bloom on the chocolate (it can go a little cloudy / white due to the extreme temperature), but it will still taste the same! Usually our bakes don’t hang around long enough to need to go in the freezer!
Do you offer gluten free / vegan / free from cakes?
Sadly not at the moment. Many of our products are egg free, but we use gluten, soya and butter in almost all of our products. Please check the ingredient list before purchasing if you have any allergies or intolerances.
Do you offer corporate gifts and personalised options?
Yes we do! You can contact us on info@tessbrilliantbakes.co.uk or call 01295738477 to discuss your requirements! We can also offer corporate / personalised chocolate bars.
Do you supply cafes and coffee shops?
Yes we do! We currently supply lots of local cafes and coffee shops. For more information and for a wholesale price list, email us on info@tessbrilliantbakes.co.uk
Do you make birthday / celebration cakes?
Yes we do, but it depends on how busy we are when it is needed. During November and December during the very busy Christmas period, we can fit in very few larger cakes, but contact us with your requirements and we can discuss it with you. We do a lot of buttercream / ganache covered cakes with various toppings. We may be launching a range of cakes to order online soon so watch this space!
